Apple's new Mac mini and Mac Studio are built for local AI development

Apple has unveiled updated versions of the Mac mini and Mac Studio, both designed with local AI development in mind. These desktops have become popular for on-device AI inference and software development thanks to their unified memory architecture and fast CPUs and GPUs. The new models are powered by two new chips: the M6, Apple's first 2nm chip in its Mac M-series, and the M5 Ultra, the most powerful chip in the lineup, especially for AI workloads.
