Meta Tests Robots to Handle Data Center Chores

Meta is testing robots from vendors including Watney Robotics, Kinova, and ABB to perform tasks such as plugging in cables, resetting servers, and cutting power to servers in its data centers. One data center worker estimated that a successful robot could replace up to 80 percent of some employees' workloads, adding, "It's coming for us all, unfortunately."
