Rockstar Says GTA 6 Won't Satirize Trump or COVID

Rockstar Games, known for the satirical edge of its Grand Theft Auto series, will reportedly avoid directly parodying Donald Trump's political rise and the COVID-19 pandemic in Grand Theft Auto 6. The game comes 13 years after GTA 5, giving Rockstar plenty of recent American culture to explore, but these two topics are off the table, according to new previews. While the franchise's signature humor remains, the report says GTA 6 will not address those specific subjects.
