SpaceX Acquires AI Coding Platform Cursor for $60 Billion

SpaceX has agreed to acquire the AI coding tool Cursor for $60 billion in an all-stock transaction. The deal is expected to close in Q3 and comes after SpaceX's recent IPO and merger with xAI. Cursor was one of the first tools to fully integrate large language models into IDEs but faces competition from other platforms and established AI companies offering comparable features.
