After Ten Months, Google's $100 Home Speaker Finally Goes Up for Preorder

Google has announced that its new smart home speaker, simply called the Google Home Speaker, will launch on June 25 and is now available for preorder at $100. It is the company’s first home audio device in nearly six years, following the Nest Audio from 2020. The compact, oblate spheroid speaker features a partially recycled fabric cover in four colors, 360-degree sound, a bottom light ring that activates when listening, and three far-field microphones with a mute switch.
