AI coding agents autonomously train robots to install GPUs and cut zip ties

AI coding agents have autonomously trained robots to perform tasks such as cutting zip ties and inserting GPUs into motherboard sockets using a new framework called ENPIRE. Developed by NVIDIA's GEAR lab in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University and UC Berkeley, ENPIRE wraps AI models with tools, memory, constraints, and feedback loops. According to NVIDIA's Jim Fan, the system enables the lab to self-improve overnight, with researchers reviewing results in the morning.
