Who handles your data
This policy covers vidgetc.com and the associated vidgetc account features. Contact vidgetc at info@vidgetc.com. Contact address: 45 Vyshhorodska St, Kyiv, Ukraine. Use this email for questions about your data and user requests.
Information used
An account uses your username, email, password hash, display name and, if you add them, an avatar and profile description. The service also stores your selected language and theme, bookmarks, likes, follows and comments. Your public name, avatar, comments and editorial attribution may be visible to other visitors. Do not add sensitive information to your public profile.
Why information is used
Account data enables sign-in, access recovery and the features you request. The server may process technical request information, including IP address and browser details, for operation, security and troubleshooting. IP addresses are temporarily used to protect sign-in. Article-view history may include an account ID, IP-address hash and viewing time. Optional analytics, external media and marketing services are enabled according to your cookie settings.
External services
If you choose Google or Telegram sign-in, that provider shares the information needed for sign-in and account linking. If you permit push notifications in an app, a device token is stored for delivery. Hosting and technical providers process information to operate the service; their infrastructure may be in other countries. Google Fonts and images hosted by other providers may receive your IP address and technical details when a page is displayed, independently of analytics consent. External videos, analytics and websites you visit through links have their own policies.
Retention and security
Account information is retained while the account is used or the relevant feature needs to be provided. Following account deletion, associated personal records are removed; published editorial content may remain without an account link. Backups and technical logs follow a separate retention cycle; contact support for details. Passwords are stored as hashes. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests and choices
You can change available information in profile settings, decline optional cookies, and request access, correction or deletion. See account deletion. We may ask you to verify account ownership to protect it; do not send your password. Data rights and access to a supervisory authority depend on applicable law.
