Request deletion

Email info@vidgetc.com from the address linked to your vidgetc account with the subject “Delete my vidgetc account”. Include your username and confirm that you want the account and associated personal information deleted. Do not send your password. We will verify that the request comes from the account owner.

What is deleted

Confirmed deletion removes the account, access tokens, settings, bookmarks, likes, follows, your comments and device registrations. Your avatar is removed if other records do not use it; technical cleanup may finish separately.

What may remain

Published editorial articles and pages may remain without a link to the deleted account. Other users’ replies and shared media are not removed with it. Backups and technical logs have a separate retention cycle; ask support about the timing applicable to your request. Account deletion does not remove copies held by other services.

Before deletion

Deletion is different from signing out or temporarily hiding a profile. Access to personal features will be lost. If you only need a correction or help signing in, explain that in your request.
