Anthropic has confirmed it is building a custom silicon team to design its own chips for running Claude models. The company posted job listings for roles including a senior engineer with semiconductor design experience, a silicon engineer, and a technical program manager for silicon. A spokesperson confirmed the plans to Business Insider and TechCrunch.
