Anthropic investors eye $2 trillion IPO valuation for October float

Anthropic’s backers expect the AI startup to go public in October at a valuation of $2 trillion or more, a figure that would surpass SpaceX and mark the largest initial public offering in history. Half a dozen investors told the Financial Times that the company’s rapidly rising revenue could support more than double its current valuation. Such a listing would generate billions in gains for early backers of the five-year-old company, but it would also test public markets increasingly wary of the AI boom.
