Apple Sues OpenAI Over Alleged Trade Secret Theft via Bug Exploited by Ex-Engineer

Apple has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, seeking injunctions to prevent the use of confidential information allegedly stolen by former employees. The complaint states that a bug allowed ex-Apple engineer Chang Liu to access Apple servers for weeks after his termination, and that OpenAI conspired with him and another employee to unlawfully obtain trade secrets for AI-device development. Apple claims the scheme aimed to create a product line as competitive as the iPhone.
