Koei Tecmo's studio Gust has announced RyzaChat: Your Midsummer Dream Story with AI Ryza, an AI chat RPG for iOS and Android set in the Atelier Ryza universe. The game is built entirely around conversations with an AI chatbot version of series protagonist Ryza.
Developers have stated that no AI-generated artwork will be used and that voice actors will receive fair revenue sharing. Even so, the premise sounds bleak.
