ByteDance reportedly developing a massive AI model to compete with Anthropic

ByteDance is in the early stages of training a large AI model that could rival Anthropic's most advanced system, Mythos. The model may contain up to 10 trillion parameters, making it roughly three times larger than Moonshot's Kimi K3, the biggest Chinese model released so far.

Pre-training is expected to take three to six months, followed by fine-tuning and a potential release if development goes smoothly. The final model size has not yet been fixed.
