Cloudflare has open-sourced Cloudflare OS, an internal platform that lets employees—including those without coding experience—build applications by describing workflows in natural language to AI agents. The company says thousands of employees use it daily to create documents and slides, automate tasks, and build small data-visualization apps.
Cloudflare also emphasizes a security framework designed to prevent AI-generated code from introducing serious vulnerabilities or causing data breaches. Principal engineer Kenton Varda said the sandbox is secure enough that non-technical users can be allowed to “vibe code” without keeping security teams up at night.
