Wizards of the Coast is bringing the crossover strategy that boosted Magic: The Gathering to Dungeons & Dragons. The first release in this new line will be the book Dungeons & Dragons: World of Warcraft.
The move follows the huge financial success of Magic's Universes Beyond sets, which generated $1.72 billion in annual revenue in fiscal year 2025 despite frustration from some dedicated fans. Crossovers with franchises like Final Fantasy, Marvel, and Avatar: The Last Airbender have proved highly profitable for the company.
