Elon Musk's xAI Sues Users and Minnesota to Avoid Liability for AI-Generated CSAM

After arrests of Grok users for creating child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and lawsuits from minors, Elon Musk's xAI has begun suing users who circumvent its safeguards. In a new legal filing, xAI argues that its own lawsuit against a user proves it is already punishing bad actors, and therefore Grok should be shielded from Minnesota's ban on nudification technology. The company is attempting to use litigation to avoid responsibility for harmful outputs generated through its AI tool.
