Four European operators explore a joint satellite-spectrum bid

On October 19, Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone announced a letter of intent to explore a joint European satellite-spectrum bid for direct-to-device connectivity. A satellite partner has yet to be selected; this is not a service launch.
