Fully Autonomous Drones Reportedly Killed Russian Soldiers in a Test Two Years Ago

A Ukrainian drone manufacturer revealed that fully autonomous drones killed Russian soldiers during a battlefield test conducted two years ago. The test, described by Aero Center CEO Alexander Kokhanovskyy, involved quadcopter drones preprogrammed to fly to a front-line area and activate an AI-powered “Terminator mode” to seek out and attack any target. Although there was no video feed of the attack, human-piloted drones later found dead Russian soldiers at the site, suggesting the autonomous drones were responsible.
