Xbox announced its second October Game Pass wave on October 20. The schedule extends beyond the month: the last of its eight additions arrives on November 3. Choosing a game also means checking the subscription column. Several titles include Premium, while others are listed only for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
The arrival calendar
- October 21 — Sandustry. PC. Game Preview; Premium / Ultimate / PC Game Pass.
- October 22 — Dodo Duckie. Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Ultimate / Premium / PC Game Pass.
- October 26 — Scramble Knights Online. Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Game Preview; Ultimate / PC Game Pass.
- October 27 — The Séance of Blake Manor. Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Ultimate / Premium / PC Game Pass.
- October 29 — Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Ultimate / Premium / PC Game Pass.
- October 29 — Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted. Cloud, Console, PC. Ultimate / PC Game Pass.
- October 29 — Terrible Lizards. Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Ultimate / PC Game Pass.
- November 3 — Pit of Goblin. Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC. Ultimate / Premium / PC Game Pass.
These are Game Pass arrival dates, not necessarily each game’s original release date. Xbox specifically identifies Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards as day-one additions. Sandustry and Scramble Knights Online carry the Game Preview label, so readers should treat them as preliminary versions rather than assume they are finished releases.
Reading the platform and subscription labels
Cloud is a way of playing, not a separate game or a promise that every subscription tier includes streaming. PC Game Pass refers to playing on PC; seeing it beside a title does not grant its console version.
Xbox uses the broader Console label for Plants vs. Zombies, while most other entries specifically name Series X|S. Check the game’s listing in your own region before installing.
Sandustry has an unusually worded entry: it says the game is now with Premium and is joining Ultimate and PC Game Pass. October 21 therefore follows the official calendar without assuming that all three tiers receive it for the first time together. Essential is not listed for any of these eight game additions.
Where to start: a genre guide, not a review ranking
For a story-driven solo game, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade covers the Midgar portion of the story and combines real-time action with command-based combat. The Séance of Blake Manor offers a different pace: a disappearance investigation at an Irish hotel in 1897. They serve different tastes within narrative games, rather than competing for the same multiplayer evening.
For playing with friends, Xbox describes Scramble Knights Online as an MMO-lite built around quests, dungeons and equipment, and Pit of Goblin as co-op horror. Puzzle-platformer Dodo Duckie or the garden defence of Plants vs.
Zombies may suit a different type of session. These are pointers based on official descriptions, not scores from our own playthroughs. We are not estimating campaign lengths or judging port quality here.
Leaving Game Pass on October 31
If you already have a playthrough underway, check this list before starting something new. Xbox lists Cloud, Console and PC for all nine departures:
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered
- Dead Static Drive
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Full Throttle Remastered
- Grim Fandango Remastered
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
- Wartales
- Wildgate
Avoid leaving the final session to the last hours: the announcement supplies a date, not one universal removal time for every region. A subscription should not be treated as a permanent game licence after a title leaves the catalogue. Check the store separately for purchase options and the terms of the edition you want.
Two other calendar details
The Elder Scrolls Online: Echoes of Skyrim is scheduled for October 21. It is an update to an existing game, not a ninth new addition in this wave. Xbox also gives advance notice of two November 10 departures: Football Manager 26 on PC and Football Manager 26 — Console Edition on Cloud, Console and PC. Neither belongs in the October 31 removal list.
A practical order is to review unfinished games that are leaving, pick one arrival that fits your preferred genre, and then check your tier. That turns the announcement into a plan for your time rather than merely a longer installation queue.
