Google has added file creation, previews and editing directly inside Gemini chats, covering documents, spreadsheets, slide decks and code. PDF editing works on the web and mobile; the other supported formats are currently web-only.

Haiku 5.5 replaced Haiku 4.5 in the model selector for Claude chat, Cowork and Design on Free, Pro and Max plans on October 29. Existing chats remain saved. Haiku 4.5 is still available in Claude Code, the API, and Team and Enterprise plans.
