Gemini reaches 1 billion users, becoming Google’s fastest-growing product ever

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that Gemini has reached 1 billion monthly active users, making it the fastest Google product to hit that milestone. While 13 other Google products have reached 1 billion users, none did so as quickly.

The metric counts only users who open the Gemini app or website to enter a prompt or use Gemini Live, not those who encounter Gemini through Gmail, Drive, or Search. Even a single use in the past month counts toward the total.

SpaceX Shares Slide on Heavy AI Spending Despite Strong Debut Earnings
