Gemini reaches 1 billion users, becoming Google's fastest product to hit the milestone

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that Gemini has reached 1 billion monthly active users, making it the fastest Google product ever to achieve that milestone. Although 13 other Google products have reached 1 billion users, none did so as quickly. Gemini is deeply integrated across services like Gmail, Drive, and Search, but the metric only counts people who actively open the Gemini app or website to use it, even once in a month.
