Google has finally opened preorders for its new $100 Home Speaker, which will launch on June 25. Announced nearly ten months ago, it is Google's first new smart home speaker in almost six years, following the Nest Audio from 2020.
The compact, round device is covered in partially recycled fabric and offers 360-degree sound, along with a glowing light ring and three far-field microphones. It comes in four colors, with jade and berry exclusive to the US, and includes a mute switch for privacy.
