Google has announced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new workhorse model that replaces the 3.6 Flash released only three weeks earlier, while the long-awaited 3.5 Pro remains unreleased. The company says the update brings improved coding and agentic performance, citing benchmark gains such as FrontierCode 1.1 rising from 34.4 to 43.6 percent and DeepSWE v1.1 jumping from 49 to 65.3 percent.
Gemini 3.7 Flash also shows gains in document handling and business workflow tasks, with GDP.pdf climbing to 34 percent and AutomationBench to 30.4 percent. To stay competitive on price, Google is launching 3.7 Flash with a lower introductory price.
