Google has announced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new "workhorse" model rolling out only three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash, while the long-awaited 3.5 Pro remains unreleased. The company says the model benefits from core optimizations and developer feedback, with improved coding and agentic performance, and it is introducing a lower introductory price to compete with cheaper rivals.
In benchmark tests, Gemini 3.7 Flash improved on FrontierCode 1.1 Main to 43.6 percent, DeepSWE v1.1 to 65.3 percent, WebDev Arena to 1,588, GDP.pdf to 34 percent, and AutomationBench to 30.4 percent. Senior Director Tulsee Doshi highlighted the model's notably better coding performance compared with the previous Flash release.
