Google launches Gemini 3.7 Flash, succeeding 3.6 Flash after just three weeks

Google has announced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new model that replaces the 3.6 Flash released only three weeks ago. The company says the model delivers better coding and agentic performance, citing improvements on benchmarks such as FrontierCode 1.1, DeepSWE v1.1, and WebDev Arena.

It also shows gains in document processing and business workflow benchmarks, with GDP.pdf rising from 22% to 34% and AutomationBench from 17% to 30.4%. Google is introducing the model at a lower introductory price to compete with cheaper rivals.
