Google Launches Standalone Finance App for Android, iOS Version Coming Later in 2026

Google Finance, a web service that has existed for 20 years, now has its first standalone mobile app, currently exclusive to Android with an iOS version promised later in 2026. The app includes AI-powered features such as generating key moments to explain stock chart movements, alongside watchlists, real-time market data, and financial news. The AI overhaul of the Finance website has also exited beta, integrating Google's chatbot into the core experience.
