Google Unveils Gemini 3.7 Flash Just Three Weeks After 3.6 Flash

Google has announced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new model that replaces the recently released 3.6 Flash rather than the long-awaited 3.5 Pro. The company says the “workhorse” model delivers better coding and agentic performance, backed by benchmark gains including a rise in FrontierCode 1.1 from 34.4 to 43.6 percent and a DeepSWE v1.1 jump from 49 to 65.3 percent.

It also shows improvements in document processing and business workflow automation, with GDP.pdf climbing from 22 to 34 percent and AutomationBench rising from 17 to 30.4 percent. Google is offering Gemini 3.7 Flash at a lower introductory price to compete with cheaper rival models.
