Google has introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new workhorse model that replaces the 3.6 Flash released only three weeks ago, though it is not the long-awaited 3.5 Pro. The company says the model offers improved coding and agentic performance, citing gains on benchmarks such as FrontierCode 1.1 and DeepSWE v1.1, along with a higher WebDev Arena score.
It also shows modest improvements in document processing and business workflows, with GDP.pdf rising to 34 percent and AutomationBench to 30.4 percent. To counter cheaper competing models, Google is launching 3.7 Flash at a lower introductory price.
