Google has announced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new model that replaces the recently released 3.6 Flash after only three weeks. Positioned as a workhorse model, it delivers improved coding and agentic performance through core optimizations and developer feedback, alongside a lower introductory price to stay competitive.
Google reports notable benchmark gains, including a rise on FrontierCode from 34.4 to 43.6 percent and on DeepSWE from 49 to 65.3 percent. The model also shows gains in document processing and business workflow tests, with GDP.pdf climbing from 22 to 34 percent and AutomationBench jumping from 17 to 30.4 percent.
