Google Unveils Gemini 3.7 Flash, Three Weeks After Its Predecessor

Google has introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new model that replaces the 3.6 Flash released just three weeks earlier, while the long-awaited 3.5 Pro remains unavailable. The company says the new “workhorse” model delivers improved coding and agentic performance through core optimizations and developer feedback.

Benchmarks show gains in coding tests, document processing, and business workflow automation. Google is also launching 3.7 Flash at a lower introductory price to compete with cheaper rivals.
