Google Unveils Gemini Robotics 2.0 with Enhanced Dexterity and Safety

Google has introduced Gemini Robotics 2, an upgraded AI system that lets robots handle more complex tasks, adapt to changing surroundings, and work together with other robots. The release includes three new sub-models, notably the embodied reasoning model Gemini Robotics ER 2, which is now available to developers through the Gemini Live API. Google says the system improves control over full humanoid bodies, including intricate hands, marking progress toward its goal of general-purpose robots capable of performing any human task.
