Technically named Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite Image, it is designed for rapid prototyping and idea exploration, though it can approach the quality of Google's larger models.
According to user ratings from Arena.ai, the model scores nearly as high as the non-Lite versions. However, it struggles with small text, infographics containing data, and maintaining consistent character appearances across iterations.
