Vercel has added Humans&’s Ampersand model to AI Gateway for group conversations. The model can choose whether to contribute or wait for another message, with access through the AI SDK and the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API.

Vercel automates Token Pass usage

Vercel now applies Token Pass to eligible AI Gateway requests without a dedicated key. Once the allowance runs out, a standard key or OIDC switches billing to team credits; dedicated Token Pass keys stop requests until the next billing period.
