Jeff Bezos’ new startup, Prometheus, has raised a total of $18.2 billion across two funding rounds, giving it a valuation of $41 billion. The company focuses on “physical AI,” applying deep learning to robotics and manufacturing.
Bezos and co-founder Vik Bajaj disclosed that the massive funding will be used to acquire compute power for data creation. Prometheus currently employs 150 people and counts JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and BlackRock among its investors.
