Jeff Bezos’ Startup Prometheus Raises $12 Billion to Advance Physical AI

Jeff Bezos’ new startup, Prometheus, focuses on “physical AI”—applying deep learning to robotics and manufacturing. The company has raised $12 billion in a new funding round, adding to an initial $6.2 billion, giving it a $41 billion valuation.

Much of the capital will go toward compute-intensive work to generate data, as Bezos explained to CNBC. Prometheus, co-founded with Vik Bajaj, currently employs 150 people.
