Matt Damon, known for playing extraordinary leading men, stars in the 109-minute dystopian sci-fi epic Elysium, which is now streaming on Netflix. The role fits a career that includes Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr.
Ripley, the Bourne series, and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Damon has also shown range as an ordinary everyman in Contagion, where his character’s lack of expertise drives his anxious story.
With Elysium, he returns to the kind of larger-than-life role that has defined much of his filmography.
