Microsoft introduces Guardian Agents to oversee AI agents

On October 19, Microsoft introduced Guardian Agents in Project Perception to monitor AI agents and restrict their actions as risk rises. It also announced dynamic permissions and expanded discovery to 60 types of local agents, including Codex and Claude Code.
