Nintendo’s Indie World on 28 October 2026 brought announcements for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Below are the Western presentation’s 23 games, their announced release dates or windows, short descriptions, and the official Nintendo of America recording. The Japanese edition is linked separately.
All 23 games in the Western presentation
The list below covers the Western presentation, including its closing montage, rather than 23 entirely new game reveals. The platform column shows the announced Nintendo versions, not every platform a game supports. A year or season is a release window; Switch 2 Edition denotes a specifically named edition.

Witchbrook: magical studies and online co-op
Witchbrook combines magical college life with friendships, romance and a customisable woodland cottage. Its official description also includes online co-op for up to four players. These are the game’s announced features, rather than impressions from a hands-on session. Chucklefish’s media page
Sword of the Sea and Tenjutsu offer different kinds of movement
Giant Squid describes Sword of the Sea around a Hoversword combining surfing, skating and snowboarding, with an adventure about restoring a lost ocean. The developer’s game overview
Tenjutsu’s official pitch centres on martial-arts combat, four criminal syndicates that can be confronted in different orders, and rebuilding the city. Devolver Digital’s game description
Shared worlds, exploration and a separate Japanese announcement
Spirit Crossing is an MMO built around shared activities, gathering and building. Its announced versions include PC as well as the two Nintendo systems, so the presentation’s console-exclusivity wording should not be read as Nintendo-only availability across every platform. Noisy Pixel’s report
Winds of Viridia pairs movement and combat with a mothbug companion. Its announced soundtrack involves Kevin Penkin and Christopher Larkin, and a demo was announced for later on showcase day. Noisy Pixel’s report
Separately, Shueisha Games confirms BAKUDO appeared in Japan’s 28 October Indie World: Nintendo Switch 2 joins the announced PC version, with a 2027 target. This is a regional-showcase item, not a claim that it appeared in the American recording embedded above. Publisher announcement

What to look for in the eShop today
Nintendo announced four free demos for later on 28 October: Haunted Paws, Petal Runner, RACCOIN Chaos Max Edition and Winds of Viridia. Nintendo’s release via GamesPress
Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services was also announced for release that day on Switch. VGC’s showcase recap
We have not independently verified each demo’s availability in each regional store. Check the listing on your console and distinguish a demo download from a preorder or full-game purchase. “Later today” is an announcement-time promise, not evidence that a download is already live everywhere.
The useful takeaway
The presentation combines games close to release with projects still targeting 2027. Its practical distinction is the split between Switch and Switch 2 support: a shared showcase does not mean every announced game is coming to both consoles.
