OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Work, a tool designed to handle extended projects and automate entire workflows without the time limits that plagued its earlier Agent Mode. The tool can stay with a task for hours, performing steps such as customer research, campaign briefs, and tailored marketing assets, while pausing for user approval on important actions. It also includes Scheduled Tasks, an enhanced version of cron jobs that execute repetitive work on a timer or when triggered, and can be monitored remotely from a phone.
