OpenAI has introduced its first branded hardware device, the $230 Codex Micro, a specialized RGB-lit mini-keyboard designed for monitoring and quickly interacting with multiple Codex AI agents. Developed in a limited-run collaboration with Work Louder, the keyboard features six frosted keys that provide color-coded live feedback on thread status—white for idle, blue for thinking, green for task completion, amber for needing human input, and red for errors.
