San Francisco Orders Apple and Google to Remove AI Nudify Apps from App Stores

San Francisco Attorney General David Chiu sent cease-and-desist letters this week demanding Apple and Google remove 13 so-called nudification apps from their app stores. Chiu warned that the app stores are violating California laws that prohibit supporting services used to create deepfake pornography.
