The investment comes as AI demand drives record profits for Samsung and SK Hynix but also causes chip shortages and higher consumer electronics prices.
Hyundai Motor Company is racing to mass-produce humanoid robots from its subsidiary Boston Dynamics for factory work. President Lee Jae Myung emphasized that semiconductors, physical AI, and data centers are essential for the nation’s technological leap.
