Steam’s remaining October lineup mixes full launches with games beginning development in public. This selection is checked as of 18 October and keeps those categories separate. Dates below are the dates displayed on the retrieved Steam listings; they are not automatically identical to console dates or every regional storefront.
20 October: We Were Here Tomorrow
The next asymmetrical co-op adventure puts two players inside a mysterious facility. Each has different tools and information, so clear communication matters as much as puzzle solving. The Steam listing specifies Windows 11, an internet connection and a working microphone. This is not a solo escape-room recommendation.
21 October: Stupid Never Dies
GPTRACK50’s action RPG stars Davy, a zombie who grows stronger through dungeon runs, body customization and stolen monster abilities. Steam lists the main release for 21 October.
The Glorious Idiot Edition offers advance access from 19 October at 22:00 UTC. That paid head start is different from Steam Early Access, which describes an unfinished game being developed with players.
22 October: FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE
Square Enix’s HD-2D RPG brings turn-based battles, a travelling party and Visions associated with the larger series. The retrieved Steam storefront lists 22 October, while Square Enix’s Japanese announcement explicitly lists 23 October for Steam.
Check your local store rather than treating either date as a verified universal unlock time. A demo is already available, but a demo’s availability should not be mistaken for the full game being out.
27 October: Emberville, Early Access
Emberville combines action-RPG progression with rescuing townspeople and rebuilding their home. Its Steam listing marks it as Early Access. Players should therefore judge the initial version on what is available at launch, not assume a finished campaign or every future feature is included.
28 October: Phantom Blade Zero
The martial-arts adventure follows Soul through a conspiracy with only 66 days left to live. Steam displays 28 October, while PlayStation lists 29 October. We retain the storefront distinction rather than claiming an unverified universal date.
29 October: two different kinds of launch
The Wolf Among Us Remastered revisits Bigby Wolf’s original five-episode investigation with updated presentation and Noir Mode. It is a remaster, not the sequel. ATMOSFAR, by contrast, begins in Early Access with exploration, flying craft and a mobile airbase among floating islands.
Before committing, check Windows requirements, your regional unlock time and the edition. Steam availability does not establish native Mac support, and an Early Access launch is not a promise of completed development.
