Suno Announces Watermarks for AI-Generated Music to Align with Industry Standards

Suno, a major producer of AI-generated music, announced plans to add watermarks to all audio outputs from its models. CEO Mikey Shulman said the move is needed to meet emerging industry standards for labeling AI content.

Platforms will be able to mark such content as AI-generated or block it entirely. Suno did not specify whether it will use an in-house solution or Google's SynthID, which Google recently began licensing to other companies.
