Suno, a major producer of AI-generated music, announced plans to add watermarks to all audio outputs from its models. CEO Mikey Shulman said the change is intended to meet emerging industry standards for labeling AI content, allowing platforms to mark or block such tracks.
The company has not specified whether it will use its own technology or a licensed solution like Google's SynthID. Google says its SynthID watermarking has already labeled 60,000 years of audio and over 100 billion images and videos.
