Trump Reportedly Asked Musk to Donate SpaceX Stock for New Children's Savings Accounts

According to a report, former President Donald Trump has requested that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk donate company stock to seed a new children's savings initiative called 'Trump Accounts,' set to launch on July 4th. The accounts are individual retirement accounts for children under 18 with a Social Security number, and parents can sign them up via a dedicated app.

So far, 6 million children have been enrolled, and those born between 2025 and 2028 will receive a one-time $1,000 government contribution. It remains unclear whether SpaceX will make the donation or how it would affect the accounts' value.
