According to a report, President Donald Trump has requested that SpaceX donate stock to seed his new 'Trump Accounts' for children, which launch on July 4th. The accounts are individual retirement accounts available to any child under 18 with a Social Security number, and 6 million children have already signed up.
Children born between 2025 and 2028 will receive a one-time $1,000 government contribution. It remains unclear whether SpaceX will make the donation or how it might affect the accounts' value.
