Former President Donald Trump is set to launch “Trump Accounts,” a children's savings initiative, on July 4th. According to a report, Trump’s administration has discussed with SpaceX the possibility of donating company stock to seed these accounts, though no final decision has been made.
The accounts are individual retirement accounts for children under 18, with the government offering a one-time $1,000 contribution for those born between 2025 and 2028. So far, 6 million children have been enrolled in the program.
