Former President Donald Trump is preparing to launch so-called Trump Accounts on July 4th, a new type of individual retirement account for children under 18, and has reportedly sought a stock donation from SpaceX to seed the initiative. According to a source familiar with the talks, SpaceX has discussed donating stock with U.S.

officials, though it remains unclear whether the donation will occur or how it might affect account values. So far, six million children have been enrolled in the program, which includes a one-time $1,000 government contribution for children born between 2025 and 2028.
